Clozet turns your phone into a personal wardrobe organizer — catalog every piece you own, build outfit combinations, and check real-time weather to help decide your daily look. **No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no account required.**

### Key Features

📸 **Photo Catalog** — Snap a photo of an item, then tag it yourself with category, sub-category, color (multi-select), brand, season, purchase price, purchase date, and notes. The more detail you add, the richer your stats. When you add a photo, an optional **background removal** (processed on-device) gives each piece a clean cut-out thumbnail — toggle it on or off.

👗 **Outfit Builder** — Pick items from your closet, combine them, and save them as a named outfit with season tags and notes. Browse your saved outfits in a clean grid, and tap one to see every piece inside. From the detail screen, log it instantly with the "I wore this today" button.

📅 **Wear Calendar** — Tap any day to log what you wore — an outfit or individual items. Each log automatically captures the **current temperature and weather conditions at the moment you log it** (when location and network are available), so your style journey is timestamped with context.

🌤 **Weather-Smart Home** — A daily card shows the current temperature and conditions for your location, paired with a dress-for-the-day hint (jacket weather, light layer, perfect day, etc.) based on the temperature. Today's suggested outfits factor in the **current season and outfits you haven't worn recently.**

📊 **Statistics & Insights** — Three lenses on your wardrobe:
- **Wear:** most-worn items, category usage, color preference
- **Finance:** total closet value, average cost-per-wear, best-value & high-cost rankings
- **Season:** wear-days tagged across spring, summer, fall, and winter

🔔 **Daily Reminder** — An optional nudge to log your wear, at a time you pick yourself.

☁ **Google Drive Backup** — Back up your wardrobe data and photos to a private app folder in your own Google Drive, and restore on a new device. (Google sign-in is only needed if you use backup — otherwise you never sign in.)

### How It Works

1. Add items by photographing your clothes, one piece at a time.
2. Tag each item with category, season, and price so the stats can do their work.
3. Build outfits by selecting items and giving the combination a name.
4. Log what you wear each day on the calendar.
5. Watch your insights grow — discover your most-worn favorites and forgotten gems.

### How It's Funded

Clozet is **free**, supported by ads to keep it that way. We don't lock features behind subscriptions or in-app purchases — no payment and no account to add your first shirt. Your wardrobe data (items, outfits, wear history, photos) is stored **on your device** by default, and only sent to your own Google Drive when you choose to back up. Network is used for weather, ads, and (when used) Drive backup.
