About this app

This is the first version of the WIDI connectivity application. With this version you can re-activate your WIDI device and update firmware over the air.

For other features you need to wait a bit more as it is work in progress.

Stopped working mysteriously. Android app hangs when trying a firmware update.

All is worthless. So is support. I picked up a couple Widi Masters at $60 a piece. Downloaded this app and the documentation. Like many many many others the app will not update firmware, report serial or current firmware, or allow any group settings despite it be connected. All support can offer is clear your Bluetooth settings. Just like everybody else that didn't work. So it looks like I'll be sending these back and ordering from a different manufacturer.

The WIDI devices by CME are the best tools to make BT MIDI instruments work correctly under Windows, as the standard "Bluetooth MIDI for Windows" driver is broken. It also removes the need for a cable to the instrument. This app is required to configure the devices, and works for every case I've tried.
