Ratings and reviews

For as long as I can remember, "download" means "keep until deleted". The ePaper app doesn't work that way: you download and if you don't keep the app open, and possibly even after it's been opened, the downloaded ePaper disappears. It must be downloaded again to see all the pages. Ridiculous way to define the word "download" especially when I'm getting ready to step on board a flight or will not have connectivity.

Too many notifications!! Please allow option for selecting how many in a day. It indicates about 13, but every time I look at my phone there are at least 2 new ones. So it feels like 130 per day. I'm about ready to turn off notifications all together, and if I do, then I probably won't ever look at the AJC app again as I won't think about it. The news and weather are fine, again just too many notifications!!

App is impossible to navigate around, because of one simple thing: it does not know how to handle the "Back" button like EVERY OTHER ANDROID APP knows how to do. If I press Back, I want to go BACK to where I was before, not close the app. After ten attempts to read two articles, I give up. Clearly an iPhone app originally, with UI and design choices made by people who have never used Android in their lives. I'm sorry guys, but you dropped the ball here.
