Ratings and reviews

Virtually worthless, and an embarrassment. Despite subscribing, with solid wifi coverage, this app mostly sits and spins, never loading the articles. When it says your newspaper is "ready", it's not actually loaded in the app, you have to be online to read anything anyway. Even "Download" in this app is meaningless. Tap a news notification to read an article? Blank screen forever. Just a garbage app. Use a 3rd party app like Press Reader, and you might actually be able to read offline.

The app is OK but the bookmark feature does not work i.e. you can not save articles for latter reading.

I've lost my phone access to Monday-Friday Dayton Daily News. I loved "taking the paper with me" during the day, and catching up on the news. The new app is displayed as a whole page on a small vertical section of my phone now. The type is so tiny it's unreadable. When I enlarge it, the page expands, but disappears on each side of the screen under a vertical line and white space.
