I used this thing when I first bought it, then threw it in my toolbox a couple of years ago and forgot about it. Today I wanted to use it to test an auxiliary battery system and remembered why I stopped using it. It's pointless, hard to connect and doesn't give you live data while driving so back in the junk tool drawer it goes.

Works quite well. Connects quickly. Finishes testing quickly as well. If it hangs, it's always because of the connection at the battery posts. The new tool, which is based on the Launch BST360, corrects this because the teeth design is different in that it makes it far easier to clamp and stay clamped. There were some stupid issues with the app when I first got the tool in late 2023 and lasted for A LONG TIME. I picked it up again a year later from my box, noted an update. Zero issues since.

Worked great at first. I got a new android phone and had to download the latest version of the app and now it won't connect. It's completely worthless now! Edit - the apple version of the app works like it should. Please fix whatever you did to the android app and issue an update!
