When you install the app it will ask for permission to access the following functions of your Android™ device:

• Approximate and precise location – allows the app to use your device's GPS to find the nearest branch or ATM
• Network access – allows the app to connect to the internet
• Access to pictures and videos – allows you to deposit cheques using Deposit On-the-go, or to change your profile or background image
• Access to pictures and videos – allows you to take a photo to change your profile or background image
• Access to storage – allows you to download transaction history, e-Statements, and void cheques

I couldn't figure out where else to complain but I hate the changes you made to the website a few years ago. It's so hard to use and I constantly make mistakes with my online banking. It makes me angry & frustrated beyond words every time I have to use it. The fact that the to and from fields for transfers and bill payments use a completely different user interface from each other is ridiculous & confusing. It makes me not want to bank with you anymore and I've been a customer for 10+ years.

As others have said, the new app is awful. I have had several different banking apps across different institutions and this is by far the worst. "Oops! Something went wrong" is constantly popping up. The app barely works. Thank you for forcing us to use the new non-functional app. Another poster mentioned it's been broken for a month. I'm giving it until Christmas and I'm switching credit unions if it's still broken and poorly designed. In 2019 there is no excuse to have poor mobile banking.

This app is super buggy. I am considering pulling my money from Coast Capital and closing my account because of the number of times I am unable to log in, or am prevented from making a transfer. Recently funds in my TFSA were locked in for days because of some "glitch". I don't care if "it's not you, it's us", if it doesn't get sorted out soon-I'm going to bank elsewhere. This is unacceptable.
