The Coast Mobile® Banking app is full of innovative tools to help you do your banking on the go and take control of your finances. Take advantage of Money Manager, our free in-app personal financial management tool, that helps you learn about your spending habits, set budgets, track progress towards your goals and pay down debt more effectively.

App Permissions

When you install the app it will ask for permission to access the following functions of your Android™ device:

• Approximate and precise location – allows the app to use your device's GPS to find the nearest branch or ATM
• Network access – allows the app to connect to the internet
• Access to pictures and videos – allows you to deposit cheques using Deposit On-the-go, or to change your profile or background image
• Access to pictures and videos – allows you to take a photo to change your profile or background image
• Access to storage – allows you to download transaction history, e-Statements, and void cheques

I like the functionality of the app, when it functions. I regularly update it and Mobile Deposit has stopped working properly with multiple updates. It's been working for the last version, but today I opened it and had no options but to update again. Fingers crossed that it'll still work. Updates should be optional for a window of time, not immediately forced, so that some people can test it out in the real world before everyone has to use it.

Horrible user interface. Example: the calculator buttons for when you enter an amount of money to transfer has a comma button on the default screen, but no decimal point. When you enter an amount the system auto-enters the commas for you, but not the decimals. Edit: and now their website isn't compatible with Firefox (according to the tech I just talked to) so I am forced to use this app. Not happy about that when I've been using Firefox for the last decade without issue.

Very frustrating. I have never had an issue with logging in before and receiving text codes. And then all of a sudden it decides that I don't have a phone number OR email and won't let me log in unless I go to a branch and give them a number that is already linked (and has worked perfectly fine and is entered in the app).
