Ever lost a long message to an app crash, an accidental back tap, or a failed send?
Type History keeps a private, on-device copy of the text you type — so your words are still there when the app isn't.

■ What it does
Type History runs quietly in the background and saves the text you type in other apps.
When something goes wrong, open Type History, find what you wrote, and copy it back.

• Automatic typing history — no "save" button, nothing to remember
• Grouped by app — see everything you typed in each app
• Version history — every edit of the same draft is kept, so you can go back to earlier wording
• Full-text search across your entire history
• Copy, share, or delete any record in one tap

■ Privacy is the product
• Your typed text is stored only on this device, in a local database. It is never uploaded, synced, or shared.
• Password fields are never recorded. The app skips them at the code level.
• You choose how long records are kept — 1 day, 3, 7, 30, 90, 180 days, or a year. Anything older is deleted automatically.
• Lock the app with a PIN, or with your fingerprint or face.
• Pause recording any time, or exclude specific apps so they are never recorded.
• No account, no sign-in, no cloud.
• This app shows ads. An internet connection is used only to load those ads — your typing history is never part of that traffic. It stays on your device.

■ How it works (accessibility service)
Type History uses Android's accessibility service to read the text you type into other apps.
On Android, that is the only way an app can offer this.
The service is off until you turn it on yourself, the app explains exactly what it reads before you do,
and you can turn it off again in Android Settings at any time.

■ What it is not
• Not a monitoring or spy tool. It saves what YOU type on YOUR device, for YOU to read.
• It cannot see other people's messages, and it does not recover messages someone else deleted.
• It never records password fields.
• Your records are never sent anywhere.

• Long chats and emails that vanish on a failed send
• Forms that reset when the app reloads
• Posts, comments and reviews lost to a crash
• Remembering the exact wording you used earlier
