From Dirt to Dark Lord combines action RPG combat with castle defense and a campaign of conquest. Fight as the Overlord, build a legion and turn a crumbling refuge into a citadel worthy of your ambition.
FIGHT ON YOUR OWN TERMS
Move your character through battle, dodge dangerous attacks and unleash dark abilities at the right moment. Break enemy lines with a dash, raise the dead or bind your foes with the power of the Abyss. Your preparations matter, but so do your decisions in combat.
MAKE EVERY ROOM A DEFENSE
Fortify the Citadel Gate, Barracks and Throne Room. Place defenders and traps, move them between posts and upgrade your rooms. Keep invading heroes away from your treasury with a plan that puts every part of your castle to work.
BUILD YOUR CIRCLE OF GENERALS
Summon the Generals of Darkness, strengthen them through Ascension and combine their talents in your army. Death knights, witches and other outcasts bring distinct combat roles, abilities and stories to your court.
SHAPE YOUR DARK POWER
Develop Fury, Necromancy and Darkness in the skill tree. Combine active abilities, weapons, armor and relics into your own builds, then adapt your approach to the next challenge.
TAKE THE FIGHT BEYOND THE GATES
Lead expeditions into the lands of the Light. Raid caravans, rescue allies and face enemy commanders. Conquer provinces, collect tribute and return to quell uprisings when your subjects resist. Choices on the world map add another side to ruling your growing domain.
