Wake-on-LAN and Dual Boot sound easy until you try it. On Windows you end up digging through hidden network driver properties. On Linux the setting is gone after the next reboot.

Install a small program on your PC, Windows or Linux, and enable Wake-on-LAN from its tray icon with one button. On Linux it is re-enabled on every start, so it does not slip away.

Then scan a QR code from your phone and it is paired. No addresses to type, no technical values to copy.

🔧 WITHOUT INSTALLING THE AGENT

It still works. Add the computer by hand with its MAC and address and wake it over Wake-on-LAN, just like any other app of this kind. In exchange, setting Wake-on-LAN up is on you, and you cannot shut the machine down or change which system it boots.

🔒 HOW IT WORKS

Pairing is done by QR code and the connection is encrypted, with the agent's certificate pinned so the app only ever talks to your machine. The app runs only the actions the agent declares for that computer. Everything happens on your local network: this is not remote administration over the internet.

✅ WHAT YOU NEED

• Wake-on-LAN enabled in the BIOS/UEFI. This is the one step the agent cannot take for you.
• A wired Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi is not supported in this version.
• On Linux, GRUB configured if you want to switch system on reboot.
