LexMemo is a billing and accounting app for independent legal practice. Appearances, drafting, consultations — a fixed fee for each piece of work you actually did. No hours. No timers. No server.

Fee memos in seconds Record a court appearance or drafting work against a matter, tap Generate, and LexMemo produces a professional fee memo PDF on your own letterhead — itemised, subtotaled, with junior counsel fees and instructing-attorney routing handled correctly. Court references are parsed the way they are actually written, and the work types you bill are yours to define.

Sent from your own accounts Memos go out through your own email or WhatsApp, in your own voice. LexMemo never sends anything on your behalf — it prepares the message, attaches the PDF, and hands over to the app you choose.

Reminders that don't forget Once a memo is sent, LexMemo schedules a ladder of polite payment reminders. Each reminder is a local notification on your device — it survives restarts and works with no connection. Mark paid, and the chasing stops.

Income & Expense accounting The Ledger tab keeps a running record of fees received and chamber expenses across eight currencies, with categorised expenses and a clean Income & Expenditure statement you can export as a PDF — ready for your accountant or your tax file.

Your calendar, if you want it Optionally, LexMemo reads your device calendar (read-only — it never creates or modifies events) to list your court work so it can be billed. It learns which events you bill and starts suggesting the matter for you. Skip it entirely if you prefer manual entry — everything works without it.

Private by design Your data is stored on this device. LexMemo has no account, no server, and no analytics. (Android's own backup, if you have it switched on, may include the app's data in your device backup — that is your phone's setting, and it goes to your Google account, never to us.) There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Back up to a file whenever you choose, and restore on a new phone. Uninstall, and your data is gone — that is how it should be.
