CodeBuddy is a code-compliance assistant for the trades, built by veterans and tradespeople. Ask a question, show it what you're looking at, or talk to it hands-free, and get answers that point back to the code or standard they came from.

CHAT WITH YOUR SPECIALISTS
Each Specialist knows a set of codes and standards for a trade or a place. Ask about clearances, sizing, protection, or anything else on the job, and the answer shows the sources it used. When there isn't enough to go on, it tells you instead of guessing.

INSPECT WITH YOUR CAMERA
Start a live inspection and point your phone at the work, or upload photos or a short video. CodeBuddy points out what to check and possible problems, tied to the relevant code sections. Export an inspection as a PDF report to share with your crew or client.

HANDS-FREE VOICE
Talk to CodeBuddy while your hands are busy, on a ladder or in a panel, instead of stopping to type.

LOCAL AI, NO SIGNAL NEEDED
On supported Android phones (6 GB of memory or more), download Local AI and the Specialists you use, then ask questions in basements, tunnels, and remote sites with no connection. Local AI is free.

THE CODES THAT APPLY WHERE YOU WORK
CodeBuddy keeps track of your jurisdictions, so the codes and standards for the place you're working are the ones it uses.

CALCULATORS (BETA)
Transformer, voltage drop, conduit fill, box fill, and residential service calculators. They run on your phone and are free. They are in beta, so always double-check the results against your code book.

WORK AS A TEAM
Invite people to your workspace by email or with a join link, and switch between workspaces when you work with more than one company.

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions.
