You are away from your desk. Four coding agents are working in your repository. One of them stops and wants an answer. Code Carta on your phone shows you which one, what it is asking, and lets you answer it, without opening a laptop.
Code Carta is a cockpit for engineers who run several coding agents at once. The desktop application watches the agents, keeps track of whose line is whose across the whole tree, and stops them from wrecking each other's work. This app is the part of it that fits in your pocket: the fleet, and the conversation with the agent you pick.
WHAT IT SHOWS
• Every agent running on your machine, and which ones are waiting on you.
• The agent's own screen, live, as the agent draws it. When your agent's tool ships a new interface, the phone shows it the same day, with nothing to update.
• A composer for saying something back, with your phone's dictation.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
There is no editor, no file tree and no diff review. You do not write code on a phone. You have a conversation with the agent, and this is built for exactly that.
HOW IT CONNECTS
The app pairs with Code Carta running on your own computer by scanning a QR code. On the same network it connects directly. Away from it, the two meet through our relay, and everything through the relay is encrypted end to end with a key that was made on your desktop and never leaves it. The relay carries ciphertext and keeps no record of who connected or when.
Nothing leaves your machine unless you send it. Two things can: a bug report, which carries the logs and says so before you press send, and, if you share a project's todos with a team, those todos and any file you attach to one.
REQUIRES
Code Carta for Windows or Linux, from codecarta.com, with remote access turned on. Without a paired desktop the app shows the pairing screen.
