Dragon-headed ships are on the horizon and the coastal villages look to your shield.
North Defense is a minimalist real-time tactics game. Every island is generated anew: read the landing beaches, place your squads, hold the narrow stairs and use the cliffs and the cold sea against the raiders. Save the houses and their people – every house that still stands at dawn fills your war chest.
COMMAND
• Tap a squad, tap a tile – or drag. Time slows while you choose, and a tactical pause lets you give orders at any moment.
• Seven classes: infantry, archers, pikemen, huscarls, crossbowmen, javelin throwers and the healing völva, each with its own ability.
• 13 heroes with unique powers: leaping valkyries, harpoons, freezing frost, the wrath of Thor, the einherjar of Valhalla…
THE SAGA
• Sail north through six regions and 30 islands, from green meadows to the ember isles, each with its own raiders, weather and champion.
• Choose your route, visit harbours, shrines and mysterious isles, and spend your gold on ranks, abilities and relics.
• Storm the Jarl's hold at the end of the saga – and when you are ready, face Ragnarök.
