Rotate+ lets you force screen rotation for the whole phone or for each app: portrait, landscape or auto, with one tap and no root. Keep videos and games in landscape, keep chat and reading in portrait, and stop the screen from turning when you lie down. It also works on Android 16 tablets and large screens, which ignore the usual app rotation request: Rotate+ detects this and switches to the system rotation setting.
Free with a small banner ad. Pro removes the ads and unlocks every feature. Choose monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
WHAT IT DOES
• Six modes, one tap: Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Upside down, Reverse landscape, and Lock current to keep the screen exactly as it is now
• More modes: all four sides, sensor portrait, sensor landscape
• Per-app rules: applied when the app opens, released when you leave
• Keep orientation: if an app turns the screen back, Rotate+ puts your choice back
• Rotate once: turn just the current app to the other orientation. It releases by itself when you switch apps or turn the screen off
• Two Quick Settings tiles (mode and rotate once), home screen widgets and app shortcuts
• Optional notification with Pause, Mode and Rotate once
• Optional: your mode on the lock screen too, and start at boot
• Backup and restore of your rules, a status check that shows what might stop Rotate+, light and dark themes, 21 languages
FREE AND PRO
Free: every rotation mode, 3 per-app rules, Keep orientation, Rotate once, tiles, widgets, shortcuts and the notification.
Pro: no ads, unlimited per-app rules, conditions and the floating rotate button. Conditions change the orientation automatically while charging, with headphones, a Bluetooth device, a car or desk dock, during a call, at set times on the weekdays you choose, or when a foldable is folded or unfolded, for all apps or only the apps you pick.
GETTING STARTED
1. Open Rotate+ and allow "Display over other apps" when asked.
2. Tap a mode. It applies right away to the whole phone.
3. For per-app rules, allow Accessibility (or Usage access) when asked, then pick an app and its orientation.
FAQ
Q. Why does Rotate+ ask for Accessibility?
A. Only to know which app is on screen, for per-app rules, and to hold your chosen orientation with an invisible 1-pixel window. Rotate+ never reads screen content, text or passwords. You can use Usage access instead.
Q. An app keeps turning the screen back.
A. Keep orientation puts your choice back. If an app keeps fighting, Rotate+ stops trying so the screen does not loop.
Q. Do I need an account?
A. No. Your rules and settings stay on your phone. Ads and purchases use Google services.
