About this app

Your optical shop's counter on your cell phone.

My Optical Shop brings together your optical shop's customers, prescriptions, service orders, and accounts receivable. It's the CodeHamper Optical Shop app and uses the same data as the dashboard and computer app: what you enter in one appears in the others.

WHO IT'S FOR
Opticians and neighborhood optical shops: the owner, the manager, and those who serve customers at the counter.

WHAT YOU DO IN THE APP
• Counter: see at a glance how many service orders are open, in progress, ready, and delivered, and what the next deliveries are.

• Customers: search by name or phone number and open the file with contact information, notes, and service order history.

• Prescription: consult the prescription for each eye, right and left, with spherical power, cylindrical power, axis, and interpupillary distance (DP), as well as the issue date and expiration date.

• New customer: register name, phone number, and prescription at the counter. You can photograph the prescription to consult it while typing.

• Service orders: filter by stage (open, in progress, ready, and delivered), view items and dates, and advance the stage with confirmation. The delivery date is recorded.

• Accounts receivable and cash: for those with access to finances, view the monthly balance, open and overdue installments, settle an installment, and track cash inflows and outflows.

• Reports: billing, average value per service order, best customers, low stock, and late deliveries, also for those with access to finances (owner and manager).

EACH PERSON WITH THEIR OWN ACCESS
Each team member has a role in the Optical Shop. Manager and team register clients, advance service orders, and settle installments; those who only view have read-only access. The values ​​of the orders, the total spent per client, the financial information, and the reports only appear to those who can view the financial information.

MORE THAN ONE OPTICIAN
If you have access to the Optical service on more than one account, the app will ask you to choose the account when you log in and let you switch whenever you want.

NO INTERNET
If the connection drops, the app will notify you and keep what you had already loaded on the screen, instead of showing a technical error. Pull down the screen to refresh when the network returns.

SAME ACCOUNT AS THE DASHBOARD
Log in with your CodeHamper account, using your email and password or Google, or create the account through the app itself. More complete registrations, such as existing customer prescriptions, products, credit accounts, and cash register transactions, are located on the dashboard, which is also where the account and plan are managed.

BEFORE STARTING
The app is free. The Optical service is one of the products of the CodeHamper account: create the account through the app and activate the free Optical service on the home screen, on the Start plan, without a card. Plans with more capacity are available on the dashboard, for when the optical business grows.
