About this app

LinkFold is a link saver and bookmark manager built around a home screen widget for the pages you keep coming back to. Smart Tags connect related links across all your lists, and smart search finds any link by its title, tags, web address or notes. It is private by design: your links stay on your device, are never uploaded to our servers, and need no account. There are no ads.

YOUR LINKS ON THE HOME SCREEN
Place a widget and it shows a scrolling list of your saved links, ready to open in one tap. Choose which list each widget shows, and change it from the widget's header. Set the background colour and opacity, the text colour and size, and the accent colour. Place as many widgets as you like, each configured on its own.

SAVE A LINK IN SECONDS
Paste a web address and LinkFold fills in the page title and site icon. Share a link into LinkFold from any app, or save the page you are reading in the built-in browser. A link saved offline completes itself the next time you are online.

SMART TAGS
Lists decide where a link lives; tags describe what it is about, so one link can sit under several topics at once. Add tags while saving or editing a link, picking from suggestions drawn from the tags you already use. Copy a link's tags and paste them onto another in a tap. Tap any tag to see its links from all your lists. Tags travel with your links when you export a list and come back when you import it.

SMART SEARCH
Search every list at once and see the best matches first: links whose title or tags match come ahead of those matching only on their web address or notes. Choose what search looks in. Filter by one or more tags and show links that match all of them or any of them, or stay within a single list. Long-press results to select several links and act on them together.

ORGANIZE LINKS YOUR WAY
Keep links in lists, shown as tabs with a count on each. Pin favourites to the top and drag anything else into place. Add a note, an emoji or your own image to a link so you recognize it at a glance, and set a reminder to come back to it later. Recently opened links stay in your history, and deleted ones wait in the trash for 30 days.

MAKE IT FIT YOUR PHONE
Choose a light or dark theme, lock the app with your fingerprint, face or PIN, and pick the app's language. Choose what each link shows, open links in the built-in browser or any other app, and export any list to plain text or CSV.

FREE WIDGETS, NO LIMITS ON THEM
The free version gives you one list, unlimited links and tags inside it, and as many fully styled home screen widgets as you want.

LinkFold PLUS
LinkFold Plus is an optional upgrade. Create as many lists as you need, each with its own name, colour and widgets. Back up your whole library, including notes and images, and restore it on a new phone. Archive links without deleting them. Export the links from any tagged search as a text or CSV file, ready to share or use elsewhere.

ON-DEVICE STORAGE, NO APP ACCOUNT
Your links, lists, notes and images are stored on your device, and no account is required. The app uses usage and crash reporting to improve reliability; web addresses, titles, notes and list names are not included in it. See the Privacy Policy and Data Safety section for details.
