Road to Hanyang is a road-joining puzzle set among the relay stations and tribute fleets of Joseon Korea. Tap the road tiles on the map to turn them, and join the road from the source to its destination without a break.

A run takes thirty seconds to four minutes. No combat, no management. Designing one screenful of road is the whole game.

■ How to play
• Tap a road tile and it turns ninety degrees clockwise
• You succeed when every open end meets its neighbour and the whole board joins as one, with no piece left over
• Undo and Restart are always there, so there is no dead end

■ A new rule each chapter
• Ch. 1 First Run — turn straights and curves to join the road
• Ch. 2 Han River — the river cannot be crossed, and the bridge over it does not turn
• Ch. 3 Jeolla Fleet — the road forks and runs to several places
• Ch. 4 Two Roads — grain and documents go to different places. The two routes must never touch
• Ch. 5 Winter Road · Ch. 6 Cheonan · Ch. 7 West Sea · Ch. 8 Last Tribute — the earlier rules come together

■ Kim the carter's letters
Clear a mission and a sheet of hanji arrives. Seventeen letters from Kim, a carter of the Gwangju station, sent from the road — each with its own illustration. What is written on the document he has carried for years, unable to read it, is answered in the last letter. Letters you have received can be read again from the Letters shelf on the title screen.

■ 120 missions
Every mission has been verified to have exactly one solution. Nothing is arbitrarily blocked, and nothing rests on luck.

■ Par and stars
Each mission tells you its minimum number of turns up front. Solve it within par for three stars, within 1.5x for two, finish it for one. Turns are limited, so you learn to choose before you turn rather than turn to find out. Spend them all and Undo gives them straight back.

■ No account, records on your device
There are no purchases. There is a banner on the title screen, an interstitial after a win, and a rewarded hint. The first five missions run without ads while you learn the road. Records stay on your device.
