Where shall we head out?
From the moment you start preparing for your fishing trip until you record the places you want to revisit, Eottae is with you.
■ Planning a Fishing Trip According to Your Schedule
Save your schedule by selecting the date, location, the creatures you want to catch, and your fishing method. On the home screen, you can check your D-day and trip conditions, and prepare for your next trip using your past records.
■ Weather, Wind, Hourly Wave Height, and Tide
Check the weather, wind, and precipitation forecasts for your selected region and date. For the sea, you can view wave heights, high and low tides, numerical tide times, lunar and solar calendars, and sunrise and sunset data at 3-hour intervals starting from midnight. For freshwater fishing, you can prepare using information excluding sea tide times and wave heights.
■ Tackle and Supplies Suitable for Species and Methods
Check tackle recommendations below your fishing schedule. We provide reference tackle guides that incorporate the provided weather, wind, wave height, and current indices into the basic supplies suitable for the species and fishing method. It includes features such as checking supplies, connection sequences and usage, and reflecting the fishing rod's weight capacity and depths you have personally verified.
■ A Field Guide to Find Fish and Fishing Methods
Search for names or fishing methods for everything from flounder, rockfish, and cuttlefish to freshwater creatures. You can examine the characteristics of the fish, fishing methods, and capture restriction information together. For protected species, information is provided for observation purposes.
■ Select a Location on the Map and Explore Seasonal Fishing Spots
Search for ports or islands, or select a location directly on the map. Verify the location using the address and coordinates, and find fishing spots suitable for the season. You can also check provided prohibited and restricted areas, as well as marine information from nearby observation stations.
■ Recording Your Fishing Trips by Date
Access your schedule and field records on the calendar. Dates with records are marked with a blue border. Record the places you visited, field notes, and today's catch, and save your memories as time-lapse photos with the date, nickname, and time. Saved schedules can be shared or reused for your next fishing trip.
You can use the service without signing up, and your schedule and personal records are saved on your device. An internet connection is required to view weather and ocean information and maps.
The scope of forecast and observation data may vary depending on the region, date, and the provider. The Water Flow % is a relative index calculated using tide data and does not represent actual current speed or catch probability. Tackle recommendations are for reference only. Before heading out, please check local weather conditions and control guidelines, and prepare safety equipment such as life vests.
Data on prohibited and restricted areas does not include all military zones or freshwater control zones. The absence of markings on the map does not mean that fishing or entry is permitted.
