Volt Census — Cyber Lattice Puzzle

Step into a live circuit board where surge cores hide under sealed tiles. Read the numbers, trust the edge census, and clear every safe node before the lattice overloads.

HOW TO PLAY

Probe hidden tiles to reveal how many surge cores sit in the eight surrounding cells. Empty zones auto-spread. Your first tap is always safe — no cheap instant losses.

Use the glowing digits on the top and left of the board. They show the exact core count for each row and column and never change. Combine them with revealed numbers to narrow down safe paths.

Long-press a tile or switch to Lock mode to mark suspected cores. Some numbered tiles boot as jammers and show "?" instead of a digit. A jammer unscrambles only after you correctly lock at least one adjacent core.

Switch to Pulse and tap a revealed number. If the locks around it exactly match that number, remaining neighbors open in a chain. A wrong pulse costs a strike. Two strikes, or pulsing into a real core, ends the run.

Sonar lets you peek at one hidden tile for a moment without opening it. Charges are limited — use them when logic alone is not enough.
