About this app

Nirx shows today's market prices in Iraq — the US dollar in Erbil and Baghdad, gold and silver — as they are posted by well-known Iraqi market channels on Telegram.

Every market price shows where it came from. Tap any price to see the channel, the time it was posted and the original post itself. Posted prices are shown exactly as the channel posted them — no averaging, no guessing. The few figures Nirx calculates (24 karat from 21 karat, silver in dinar) are calculated from those posts.

DOLLAR
• Erbil and Baghdad prices for $100 in Iraqi dinar
• When each price was posted and when it was last checked
• A clear note when the market is closed or a channel has not posted a new price

GOLD
• 24, 22, 21 and 18 karat prices per mithqal
• World ounce price for reference
• Calculator: weight to price or money to weight, in mithqal or gram, with the making charge per mithqal

• Silver per mithqal and gram in dinar, calculated from the posted silver kilo price and the dollar rate (marked as such), plus the world ounce and kilo
