Hi, I would like to thank you for this application, that make for me what I needed. Only one functionality I am missing: I can't find how to arrange my contacts in the application according to their second names (they are arranged according to their first names only). Maybe it is still possible, but I don't know, how to make it.
No View Options for Tasks I have to say I'm shocked you wouldn't include view options for tasks. When using the tasks sync I have to look at all completed and not completed tasks. There isn't even a way to sort so all tasks completed or not completed are mixed together. This is such a basic feature. It makes it not even usable. If you simply add this option it has a great potential.
Causes serious problems with more recent versions of android This works well (if you are willing to invest the large amount of money needed) if you are using android 4.2.2 But if you are using a more recent version of android I would advise you to stay away from it. It causes frequent lockups of 3 cell phones (Xperia Z1 and 2 Galaxy S4s) running Android 4.4.2 & 4.4.3 The screen would freeze and a hard reset was needed to resolve this. This would happen serveral times a day. Uninstalling this app completely resolves the problem removing all doubt in my mind that problem lay with this app. I had no problems with several cell phones with earlier versions of Android. I was told I would need to purchase support if they were to pursue this any distance.
Great app I have used CodeTwo Public Folders for several years without problems for around ten staff members. This app installs easily on a Samsung S5 and works without fault. Great job CodeTwo.
TOO COMPLICATED TO INSTALL Thumbs down to the C2 public folders team. The instructions to do this are horribly written. The first item that MUST BE written in the page where you BUY this app is this: "WARNING! YOU MUST FIRST BUY A WEB-ENABLED LICENSE FOR YOUR SYNCMASTER (WHICH COSTS $_) BEFORE YOU SPEND $40 ON THE ADDITIONAL CLIENT APP LICENSE! Otherwise, you're a sucker."The next instruction should be this: "Before you even download this App from Google Play, you must first CONNECT YOUR SYNC MASTER TO THE INTERNET via the C2 public folders Admin. Panel and give your Sync Master a Unique Internet User name"Next instruction: You must also choose in the Code Two Public Folders Settings, "Internet and Local Network". That is, change the setting from "Local Network Only" to "Internet and Local Network" and be ready to provide your SyncMaster's Internet Name, user id and password.Without knowing these first 3 things YOU ARE LOST! Only an idiot would fail to put these instructions first. You are left to guess at this. Or, worse, you have to read through different pages in the knowledge base and instructions to find it, IF YOU'RE LUCKY.When buying the $40 license with tech spprt on the phone,no word about this!!!
Has Potential I jumped at the chance to try this service out. So far it has been over a month of delayed tech support promises. I have good computers with solid highspeed internet, but continue to have connectivity issues among other things. Their answer is always to reinstall the software. This is the third time and I just wish they could fix it. I will be searching for a better alternative. I feel like I have become my own tech support with a lousy product.
