About this app

Speaker cleaner for water and dust in one app. Got your phone wet and the speaker sounds muffled, quiet or crackly? SoniDry plays carefully tuned low-frequency tones that make the speaker diaphragm vibrate and push water droplets out through the grille. It is the same principle smartwatches use for their water lock.

Use SoniDry to clean the speaker after rain, shower, pool or sea, to remove water from the earpiece, and to check your phone speaker with a real sound test. No account, no ads.

HOW IT WORKS
• A steady 165 Hz tone moves the typical drops trapped in the speaker grille.
• Sweeps from 100 to 1500 Hz reach drops of different sizes. Larger drops move at lower frequencies, fine droplets at higher ones.
• Before and after each round, SoniDry plays a short test tone and measures your speaker's high-frequency response with the microphone, so you see a real change instead of a fake progress bar.

7 SOUND MODES
• Water Eject: steady 165 Hz for light splashes
• Deep Sweep: push plus 100 to 1500 Hz sweep, for a phone dropped in water
• Pulse: short 165 Hz bursts for stubborn drops
• Earpiece: 300 to 1000 Hz for the small speaker above the screen
• Bass Shake: 60 to 120 Hz for large drops
• Fine Mist: 800 to 2000 Hz for the last fine droplets
• Custom: a tone generator from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, four wave shapes, steady, pulse or sweep, left, right or both channels

LIVE ANALYSIS
Watch droplets leave the grille in real time. Their size follows the current frequency, calculated from water's resonance. A live waveform shows exactly what the speaker is playing.

GUIDED CLEANING
A short preparation screen shows how to hold the phone, checks that no headphones are connected and raises the volume for you.

SPEAKER TESTS
• Stereo test for left and right channels
• Frequency sweep from 20 Hz to 20 kHz to find where your speaker or hearing drops off
• Live decibel meter (sound level meter) with minimum, average and maximum
• Vibration test

DUST CLEANING
High-frequency sweeps shake loose dust and lint out of the speaker grille. For packed dust the guide shows how to clean the speaker safely with a soft brush and tape, without pushing dirt deeper or damaging the membrane.

GUIDE
Short, accurate advice: what to do in the first 10 minutes after your phone falls in water, which frequency does what, how to remove dust safely, and what IP67 and IP68 really mean.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. The microphone is only used for measuring and audio is never recorded or sent anywhere.

Works on any Android phone or tablet. Available in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Russian.

Please note: SoniDry helps remove water and loose dust from the speaker and fix the muffled sound they cause. It cannot repair a physically damaged speaker. Results depend on your device and how much water or dust got in.

SoniDry PRO unlocks cleaning, all sound modes and tests. Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play. A one-time lifetime option is also available.
