Turn your Android tablet into a second screen for your Mac — and even manage your Mac from your tablet.
Codyzer Screen makes your Android tablet a second monitor for your Mac. Plug in the USB cable, open the Mac application — your screen appears on the tablet. No Developer Options, ADB, or complicated settings.
Many of us have a tablet lying around in a drawer; and with its OLED/high refresh rate panel, it's better than most portable monitors. Codeyzer Screen turns that very panel into your second screen.
▶ HIGHLIGHTS
• No setup required — just plug in the USB and it works (AOA — Android Open Accessory)
• Smooth display up to 2.8K and 120Hz + 10-bit HDR color — no banding in dark gradients (as far as the panel supports: True HDR10 or compatible HLG)
• Audio from tablet speakers — each tablet becomes a separate output device in macOS, and the level can be adjusted from the tablet (a small one-time audio driver is installed on the Mac)
• Truly drive your Mac from the tablet — trackpad gestures are identical and CONTINUOUS (Space switching, Mission Control, App Exposé glide with a finger, you can skip halfway; 3 fingers on touch), external/case keyboard identical (including Win key and folio dedicated keys), on-screen keyboard traces the Mac's layout and keyboard type (ANSI/ISO/JIS), plus direct touch. It doesn't just mirror the screen. • Stylus — the cursor traces the pen in the air; • Pressure, tilt, eraser tip, and body key (right-click) work; palm rejection lets you rest your hand on the screen and type.
• On-screen keyboard automatically opens when you tap the text field on your Mac and closes when the focus is off.
• Wi-Fi option (automatic discovery on the same network); near wired fluidity if your Mac is on Ethernet.
• Connect from outside the home — the stream is established even if the tablet is on mobile data or another Wi-Fi network; everything is within the app with your own Tailscale account. Once you connect the tablet at home, the rest is automatic.
• Vertical use — rotate the tablet, the stream rotates without interruption; ideal for reading code and documents.
• Multiple tablets — multiple tablets (cable or Wi-Fi) to the same Mac, each with an independent screen.
• Each tablet is recognized as its own screen on your Mac — your resolution, layout, and HDR preferences remain saved to that tablet (even if you delete and reinstall the app).
• Hardware-accelerated HEVC (H.265) encoding — doesn't strain the CPU.
• The Mac cursor extends perfectly to the tablet — just like a real monitor; • Relative motion in games, hidden on the tablet where the Mac hides it
• Tablet lock — screen lock during streaming; lock with one click from the Mac when getting up from the table
• Streaming continues even when the Mac is locked or the lid is closed; wake it up from the tablet (ideal for Mac mini/Studio without a monitor)
• "Wi-Fi Only" option — cable only charges, streaming continues over Wi-Fi
• Adapts to device when connected — streaming speed and frame rate are automatic
🔌 USB — COMPLETE EXPERIENCE
Smooth, high frame rate visuals: video, fast scrolling, continuous motion. Plug in the cable, the rest is automatic.
📶 WI-FI — WIRELESS COMFORT
Reading documents, coding, daily use is very smooth wirelessly. For the smoothest experience, connect the Mac to Ethernet and both ends to Wi-Fi 6; for intensive video, the cable is still best.
🌍 REMOTE — OUTSIDE HOME
Connect your Mac at the office from home, and your Mac at home from the road. Traffic flows directly between your devices through your Tailscale account's end-to-end encrypted tunnel. The fluidity is determined by the connection; cable and local Wi-Fi remain the smoothest routes.
🔐 PRIVACY
• No personal data is collected
• Video and audio remain only between your devices — locally via USB/Wi-Fi, and remotely via your Tailscale account's end-to-end encrypted tunnel
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking SDK
