REVERSE TAX CODE
Do you have a tax code in front of you and want to know what it means? Type it or paste it, and the app shows you everything those sixteen characters contain: date of birth, age, day of the week, gender, municipality or state of birth, land registry code, consistency of the check digit, and any similarity.

This is the reverse tax code: it starts from the code and ends with the data, not the other way around.

SIXTEEN CHARACTERS EXPLAINED ONE BY ONE
Tap a block of the code and the app tells you what it corresponds to: the three letters of the last name, the three letters of the first name, the two digits of the year, the letter of the month, the day plus forty for women, the municipality code, and the final check digit. It helps you understand how a tax code is structured, not just read it.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
The list of Italian and foreign municipalities is already inside the app: over eleven thousand entries, including abolished municipalities, useful for those born before a merger. The reading is done on your phone. On a plane, on the subway, or in a basement without a signal, it works exactly the same way.

HOMOCODE RECOGNIZED
When the Revenue Agency assigns a different code to prevent two people from receiving the same one, some digits are replaced with letters. The app detects this, tells you, and reconstructs the original code.

HISTORY ON YOUR PHONE
The codes you read are saved and can be searched, copied, or reopened. They aren't uploaded anywhere: they stay on your device and disappear if you uninstall the app.

SIMPLE AND LIGHT
No account, no registration, no permissions other than the network one to update the list of municipalities. Light and dark themes available. Only a few megabytes.

WHO NEEDS IT
For those who receive a tax code from a client and want to check it. For those who work in a firm, agency, or personnel office and read dozens of them a day. For those who have found an old document and want to know the date and municipality it refers to. For those who study and want to understand the composition rule.

WHAT THE APP DOESN'T DO
It does not issue tax codes and does not replace the Revenue Agency. It does not consult the tax registry or indicate whether a code is registered: the check only verifies the mathematical consistency of the characters. The code cannot be traced back to the first and last name, because several different people produce the same six letters. For any official use, only the code assigned by the Revenue Agency is valid, as it can be found at the links above.

PRIVACY
