CoFarm is a contract farming platform that unites farmers, companies, and offtakers in a transparent and structured collaborative system. This app is designed to eliminate uncertainty in cultivation, ensuring all parties have clarity regarding contracts, progress, payments, and yields.
CoFarm provides comprehensive contract submission, validation, and management features—from land data, commodity types, planting schedules, to profit-sharing agreements. Every process is documented and can be monitored directly through the app. Real-time notifications ensure all parties are aware of the latest status updates without having to wait or guess.
Communication between parties is facilitated through real-time chat that supports text, images, and documents. All conversations are neatly stored as part of the collaboration track record. The app also provides a land location tracking system that is only activated when the user grants permission, making the verification process more accurate and efficient.
For financial transactions, CoFarm uses an escrow payment system to ensure security. Funds are deposited into an escrow account before being automatically distributed according to the distribution of funds to the developer company, farmer group administrators, and farmers. Every transaction is recorded and can be accessed through the payment history.
In addition to contract farming, CoFarm supports land leasing features for agrovoltaic solar power plants (PLT) projects. Landowners can submit lease offers, participate in the land assessment (QC) process, and view the status of negotiations or contracts. All documents can be uploaded directly from the app, including ID card photos, land photos, and other supporting documents.
Additional features include verified user profiles, document uploads, report exports, email integration, and a help center. CoFarm is built with a focus on data security, ease of use, and process transparency. With a single app, farmers gain access to more reliable business partners, companies gain a trackable source of production, and landowners have a formal means to lease their assets for farming or PV.
