It’s fast, free (as long as you return on time), and better for the planet and your health (no dangerous microplastics). Download the app to start checking out containers at participating locations.

Here’s how it works:
1. Request a reusable container from dining staff for your takeout meal.
2. Use the USEFULL app to check it out; simply scan the QR code on the base of the container.
3. When you’re done, return the container by scanning it back in at a return station.

Ratings and reviews

Unable to pass the 2FA step of logging in with my school email because the entire "screen within a screen" panel freezes. Not a touchscreen problem, everything else works fine up to that point, it just won't let me click anything having to do with the login. That said the whole thing worked great before I switched phones and I love the idea; I'd just love it even more if I wasn't now technologically barred from getting food to go.

This app rarely let's me actually scan the QR codes on the dishes and I'm left standing there trying to scan a bunch of different cups to no avail, holding up the line and wasting my time. Please fix the app.

I expected to be disappointed by an app aimed to make the world a better place but lacking the sophistication to do so. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by how easy everything worked and I'm ecstatic to see the university adopt this program. Thanks for doing what you do....
