Coffee Dictionary is the most comprehensive dictionary of the coffee world. From acidity to yield, every coffee term is explained clearly – and every day brings a new one.

Coffee term of the day
Every day, Home features one coffee term with its definition. Sign in to get it as a notification or by email as well. Both are optional, and you can turn them off in your profile at any time.

The A–Z glossary
Browse more than 250 coffee terms letter by letter: brewing methods and equipment, roasting, green coffee and processing, tasting vocabulary, drinks, growing regions and more. Each entry shows its category and a short definition. Search shows results as you type, and the terms you viewed recently wait for you at the end of the list.

Look up a word
The look-up bar sits at the top of Home. Type a coffee word and the matching terms appear; tap one to read it.

• Spotted a mistake or have something to add? Suggest a correction right from the term page

Most looked up
The ten most looked-up terms, on Home and at the end of every term page.

Kept up to date by editors
Editors keep the dictionary accurate and current, and they can add and edit terms right in the app. Know your coffee? Apply in the Profile tab.

Your account
You don't need an account to look up and read terms. Sign up with your email address and sign in with a one-time code we email you – no password needed. Add a profile photo and set your notification preferences. You can delete your account in the app at any time, which erases your personal data.

No ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases.
