CogiTrain is a cognitive training app built around five research-backed exercises that target the core mental skills you use every day — working memory, inhibitory control, processing speed, cognitive flexibility, and attention.
5 TRAINING MODES
🧠 N-Back — Working Memory
Hold letters in mind and identify matches from N steps back. Adapts from 1-back to 5-back as you improve.
🔴 Go/No-Go — Inhibitory Control
Tap fast on green. Withhold on red. Trains the brake your brain needs to stop impulsive responses.
⚡ Choice RT — Processing Speed
A color flashes left or right. Tap the matching side as fast as possible. Timing window shrinks as you get faster.
✴️ Task Switch — Cognitive Flexibility
Classify numbers by odd/even or high/low. The rule switches randomly — switch trials are harder, and that difficulty is the training.
🎨 Stroop — Cognitive Control
A color word appears in a different ink color. Tap the ink, not the word. Your brain wants to read — the training is overriding that reflex.
ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY
All five modes use staircase difficulty. The app tracks your performance trial by trial and adjusts automatically — always keeping you in the challenge zone.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Session history, accuracy trends, reaction time tracking, performance benchmarks, and a Cognitive Age Estimate show you exactly how your training is translating into measurable improvement.
HOW TO TRAIN
Research shows 15–20 minutes per day, 4–5 days per week, for at least 4 weeks is where real-world transfer effects begin to appear. Pick 2–3 modes per session and rotate. CogiTrain keeps the data so you can stay consistent.
