‘AR Book Card’ is a representative convergence content that combines Augmented Reality (AR) technology to allow children to learn and enjoy various themes at their own level. Beyond reading with your eyes, it is reading books in motion! We hope children will take an interest in this new reading activity and find it fun.

■ Content Usage Guide

1. Please print out the activity sheet from the National Children & Youth Library website and prepare it.

2. Please install the ‘AR Book Card’ app on your smartphone or smart pad.

3. Open the ‘AR Book Card’ app and select the content you want.

4. Point your camera at the image marker.

• AR Book Card: Point your camera at the image marker inside the book. • AR Cube: Point your camera at the image markers on each face, excluding the bottom.

* Enjoy realistic AR content linked to each book's theme. Each piece of content can be viewed by zooming in, out, and rotating.

Books for kindergarten and lower elementary grades were selected based on library big data rankings, rigorous evaluation by an expert advisory panel in the education and culture fields, and librarian-recommended book lists.

2) Smooth operation may be difficult depending on the hardware specifications or operating system version of the installed device.
