The Coinless app connects customers with car washes by offering a digital payment solution through smart phones. The app works on all iOS and Android devices. The app speaks to carwash equipment, allowing customers to instantly turn car wash equipment on and off from their smart devices. This removes the need for cash and facilitates the payment process for carwash owners. Coinless handles the credit-card processing for all payments made through the app. The app also manages loyalty programs that reward customers for visiting their favorite carwash locations with frequency. For best functionality, the app requires the use of location services, messaging services, contacts services, payment services, and more. The app also manages club/membership programs for carwash locations that have chosen that service.

This app broke my phone. Every minute or two I got a notification alert sound with no new notifications. Even in bedtime mode. And it totally stopped my messaging app from being able to do voice-to-text. To add insult to injury, it 100% didn't work. It couldn't seem to interface with my Google wallet and so it was useless at the car wash that had me install it in the first place. I'd give it a zero if I could. Stay away! stay far away!

The app advertises “matched” wash credits as a membership benefit, but the system only spends your actual paid balance first while the bonus credits continue accumulating untouched. Then if you cancel your membership, you lose all of those accumulated credits. Technically disclosed somewhere? Apparently. Designed in a way most customers would reasonably expect? Not even close.

Using this app at the car wash doesn't allow you to stop the timer. So, you are automatically charged the maximum amount. I was issued credits but was unable to combine them with a payment method. So, they were pointless. Using a card for the petwash is more expensive than using cash or a card. Two dollars more. So, I have deleted the app and will never use it again.
