Keep your own entrance notebook for the places you visit.
BackDoor Map helps delivery drivers, couriers, field technicians and service crews remember where to go next time. Search U.S. addresses, save a favorite, give it a name you recognize, and keep your own entrance pin and private notes. Your saved information is useful even when nobody else has contributed nearby.
YOUR PLACES, YOUR NOTES
Save a personal entrance independently of the community pin. Keep a note for your next visit and switch between your own entrance and community information. Editing a community pin does not replace your personal saved entrance.
SAVED INFORMATION WHEN YOU ARE OFFLINE
Open saved places, personal notes and pins without a connection. Previously saved community entrance coordinates are available with their saved-time label. New searches, fresh community information and uncached map imagery need internet. This is not a downloadable offline-map or turn-by-turn navigation app.
SEARCH ACROSS THE UNITED STATES
Select the state you want to search before entering an address. Switch the state selector when searching somewhere else, even if the address includes the state. Search results depend on the address provider, and an address marker is an approximate building reference, not a verified entrance location.
CONTRIBUTE WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Share an entrance or suggest a correction to help others. Community information is user-contributed, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not guaranteed. Private notes are not published through the entrance contribution workflow.
OPTIONAL BACKUP AND RECOVERY
Use local saved places without an account. Choose email sign-in and explicitly enable account backup to keep recoverable snapshots. Check the confirmed backup time before relying on recovery. Encrypted manual export is also available; keep the exported file and its separate recovery key safe.
Cloud backups are private to your account, not company sharing, and are not end-to-end encrypted. Restoring is an explicit import, not continuous multi-device sync. Without a successful backup or usable export, uninstalling the app or losing your phone can lose local saved data.
Use the app only while safely stopped. Pins do not grant access, establish parking rights, or guarantee a safe or accessible route. Do not store passwords, door codes, alarm details or other highly sensitive information in notes.
Save entrances, personal notes and favorites for your next visit.
