This app is horribly inconsistent since the update. It has always been WAY off.... like, 50-100F off (doesn't need cleaning, as it's reading HIGH). I have adjusted my cook for this, but since the update, it's even worse. Many times, the fan won't even come one when it needs to (when the commanded temp is 200 more than it reports). You need to unplug (reboot) for it to come on

I've used this for years. I changed my router and WiFi connection. I'm pretty tech savvy and this was a nightmare trying to reconnect to a new WiFi point. I factory reset the flame boss and tried to connect via the app. Unfortunately when it connects to the FB access point, it kicks me out of the cloud app because I'm no longer connected to the internet. So dumb. I'm over this product and will no longer recommend flame boss to my friends.

We checked your FB400 in our system and see it is connected and online and that you are doing a perfect cook today. The Flame Boss 500 is great, but this app is garbage. Constantly losing connection to the controller. Never could get it to connect through the cloud, so I use a local connection. Even with all of androids power management for this app disabled, it can't stay connected to the controller, so alarms are useless. I've spent more time closing and restarting the app just to get it to work.
