I cannot get it to indicate "white." I have tried it on several sheets of what I have always been told is white paper (even the label on the package says so) under various lighting. I have tried it on bright white decals under different lighting. This is crazy. It indicates "light gray." I downloaded this because I am colorblind and have a difficult time telling the red from green lights at work. I was messing around looking at various objects and came across this. So strange...but not really.

This app is great and has helped me determine what colors are being displayed on electronic readouts. I wish the photo viewing feature had a zoom option and relative touch control so you can see where the sampling crosshair is pointing instead of your finger being in the way.

I need it to just give me straight man colors only, that's just the Crayola box of 8. It can't seem to tell me the color of LEDs without throwing some stupid description like "reddish green-orange". Its either red OR green, no shades.
