About this app

ColourSpan — Discover the Colours Around You

ColourSpan is a colour analysis and organisation tool designed to help you discover, explore and collect the colours you find in the world around you.

Analyse photos

Choose an existing photo from your device or take a new one directly in the app. ColourSpan lets you explore the colours within your image and select individual areas to see detailed colour information.

Discover colour palettes

Explore the colours present in your photos and see how they come together as a palette. Whether you're looking for inspiration, trying to identify a particular colour, or simply curious about the colours in an image, ColourSpan makes it easy to investigate.

Analyse colours in list mode

Use List Mode to analyse an entire photo and generate a list of its most prominent colours, ordered by frequency. ColourSpan groups very similar colours together so that small variations don't overwhelm the results, helping you discover the dominant colours that really define an image.

Build your colour library

Browse your saved colours and organise them into collections and catalogues. Keep colours you love, colours you've discovered in photographs, or colours you want to use for future projects.

Favourites

Save your favourite colours for quick access whenever you need them. Your favourite catalogue gives you a simple way to build a personal collection of colours you return to regularly.

Custom colour collections

Create your own colour collections and add colours to existing collections. Build palettes around projects, ideas, brands or anything else that inspires you.

Make ColourSpan yours

ColourSpan includes light and dark themes, along with a hidden customisation feature that lets you replace the animated background with your favourite emoji.

Premium

ColourSpan Premium unlocks additional colour-analysis and custom-colour features for users who want to get more from their colour exploration.

Whether you're looking for colour inspiration, identifying colours from photographs, building palettes, or simply exploring the colours around you, ColourSpan gives you the tools to turn the world around you into a colour library.
