About this app

Shamar is a record-keeping and communication app for church department ministers.

If you check attendance for your class on Sunday mornings and jot down stories that resonated with you, those records carry over to the care provided the following week. Gather your ministry records, previously scattered across notebooks and group chats, in one place.

■ Grasp Today's Tasks in 3 Seconds

When you open the home screen, this week's record progress, briefings replied to by the minister, and new notifications are visible at a glance. Tapping 'Continue Recording' takes you directly to your class.

■ One-Tap Attendance Check

Tap to view attendance or absences by student on the class roster. You can instantly check last week's records by scrolling through the weeks, and view attendance rates and unrecorded students in the class status section.

■ Weekly Memos for a Single Child

When you leave a memo for this week on the student screen, it is automatically saved as you exit the input field. Since last week's memo is displayed alongside it, there is no need to retrace your steps asking, "What did I talk about last week?" In the Cumulative Records tab, attendance flow and memos accumulate in a weekly timeline.

■ Direct Briefings to the Minister

If there is a child who requires separate attention, you can send a briefing directly from the student screen. Follow-up comments left by the minister can be found in the briefing box.

■ View the Entire Department Together

You can view the status of other classes within the same department, ensuring that care for the children is not interrupted even during weeks when the assigned teacher is away.

■ Start with a 4-Digit Sign-up PIN

Simply enter the sign-up PIN received from the minister and select the department and class. No complex setup is required.

'Shamar' is a Hebrew word meaning to guard or care for. Shamar will be with you in the place where you remember and guard the children's names.

※ Student information can only be viewed by ministers and ministers belonging to the same department.
