Prik25 is an offline workbook that helps you compare two common ways of preparing or adjusting your sports equipment for running, swimming, and racquet sports. It helps you test your observations without relying on sensory or automatic tests of your playing style.
In Prik25, write a question to test and choose one thing to change. Describe the two methods, the same task you will perform, the thing you will measure, the unit of measurement, and the threshold you consider important for your performance.
Prik25 allows you to schedule pairs of 4 to 12 attempts and alternates the order of the methods. Once the entire program is complete, each method is run the same number of times. Before starting, write down the conditions that affect the test, such as the location, the equipment you use, the level of effort, and your usual rest period.
In Prik25, manually enter the results of each attempt and make sure that the conditions have not changed between the two attempts of the pair. Skipped or interrupted pairs are not included in the calculation, but their reasons are kept in the record. If the conditions change, close the current test and start a new one with the updated conditions.
Prik25 displays a comparison based on the attempts you recorded, including the median of the difference, the number of pairs supporting each method and the conclusion compared to the limit you set. You can also check how stable the result is by removing one pair at a time from the test calculation. This test is not considered independent evidence.
With Prik25, you can repeat the test on another day and compare different times, keeping track of the differences in conditions and results for each time. The ratings for different times are not combined into a single number.
Save your decision, the reasons for it and the conditions under which you applied it in Prik25. All records are stored on your device without internet, account, synchronization or game sensors. The results only reflect what you entered and do not prove causation or that one method is always better in all cases.
Compare preparation methods, keeping the results unbiased.
