The Compellio wallet is the digital version of your physical wallet. You can securely store government attestations, certificates, membership cards, permits, identity passes, loyalty cards, payment cards, tickets and diplomas issued by institutions, companies, universities and associations. These signed electronic attestations prove your identity and your rights to third parties.
Based on the latest technologies in the field of Digital Data Wallets (also called EUDI Wallets), you can securely use these attestations to, for example, connect to an internet service without even having an account and password, buy online while keeping control of your personal data, use your smartphone to access offices, or enter a concert hall. You will also soon be able to carry out online all the procedures that previously required face to face.
Your personal data is stored only on your smartphone as attestations. These attesations appear as cards. The data associated with each card cannot be seen by anyone and as with your traditional credentials you alone present them to whomever you wish. This is the future of Digital Identity!
With the Compellio Wallet you own the data about you. You can present the data to any third party you wish by maintaining strict control of them, much like you do with traditional identity documents or plastic cards.
Concretely, we keep your identity documents in electronic form in a smartphone application called a "wallet" and we present them to access services on the internet only if necessary. Digital Data Wallet technologies have been strongly supported and is being adopted by the European Commission as the preferred model of digital identity for years to come, as part of the eIDAS 2 directive.
The protection of your personal data is a primary concern. It resulted in the strict application of the rules of the GDPR and in particular in the use of Decentralised Identity formats (DIDs) that do not require writing on any third party permanent storage. Moreover, we are requesting your explicit consent on actions that would disclose your data.
The wallet is free to download and available in 5 languages.
