RUNE CLOCK is based on the ancient UTHARK system of twenty-four Runes revived in 20th Century by Swedish Runologist Sigurd Agrell.
The shape of RUNE CLOCK is created according to the image from the book RUNE POWER by Kenneth Meadows.
BIG ARM shows the Rune time according to one of twenty-four Runes that is ruling during its period within twenty-four hours. Twelve lower Runes are the Runes of the day, and twelve upper Runes are the Runes of the night. Twelve day Runes last from Sunrise until Sunset, and have equal duration respectively; in the same way, twelve night Runes last from Sunset until Sunrise, and have equal duration respectively. The four directions are showing the position of the Sun in the sky that marks the ruling Rune for that particular time.
SMALL ARM denotes the Rune period within 1 solar year according to the particular Rune that is ruling during movements of the Sun through twelve Zodiac signs, where two Runes are included in one Zodiac sign. The particular position of the Sun in twelve Zodiac signs is set according to Jyotish calculations.
Points to note
1 - Date range of possible calculation of the Rune Clock, just write between 1900 year and 2098 year.
2 - Time change rule for the states for periods before their accepting that rule is working anyway in Rune Clock.
3 - External APIs that gave the sunrise and sunset data could be off by few minutes.
4 - The accuracy reduces as you go far in time.
