I've been using Compound for about 18 months now. 8.5% APY, interest posts daily, and I’ve done several withdrawals at pretty substantial amounts — every single one went through smoothly with no hassles. Does exactly what it says. VERY happy with it. Even last minute transfers are done late in the day or weekend and their staff is more than willing to work and answer questions on weekends and holidays. Beats a bank rate and service by leaps and bounds!

The app is great to use. There was a slight hiccup when I submitted my withdrawal for the first time. It didn't allow me to withdraw. The support said, it placed the check for security purpose as I am first time user. I was able to withdraw immediately once they released me from that manual check. The calculator is not working correctly especially when we use the auto purchase option and providing the frequency. It will be great if they can correct that.

Solid returns of 8.5% interest beats even the best banks and will almost certainly perform better than trying to pick stocks or crypto. It takes a few days to transfer $ in or out, but you also don't have to worry about missing anything by "timing the market." Of course, you should keep some $ in the bank and much of your long-term investing in the markets, but this is a solid middle ground to keep a few thousand at work. Downside - wonky/dysfunctional calculator - this should be an easy fix.
