About this app

GateRoster is the visitor-access app for gated communities. Residents authorize their guests in advance; security officers verify them at the gate; the community keeps a complete, searchable access log.

GateRoster is used by invitation from a subscribing community. If your community is not yet on GateRoster, visit mygateroster.com.

FOR RESIDENTS
• Create a visitor pass in seconds: name, vehicle, visit window
• Share the QR pass with your guest by message or email
• Get notified the moment your guest checks in and checks out
• Approve or deny unannounced walk-ins from your phone
• See your visitor history any time

FOR SECURITY POSTS
• Scan the guest’s QR pass or enter the code manually
• See today’s expected arrivals and who is currently on the property
• Record vehicle details and check visitors in and out
• Register walk-ins and send the resident an approval request
• Search the access log by name, plate or unit

FOR COMMUNITIES
• Each community’s data is kept in its own isolated database
• Role-based access: residents see only their own unit’s visitors
• Administrators manage units, residents, officers and gate posts from the web portal at app.mygateroster.com

Sign-in is secured by Firebase Authentication. The app uses the camera only to read QR codes. Push notifications can be turned off at any time in your device settings.
