About this app

Con2Peer is an invitation-only community for people who work in IT. A personal invitation and an approved phone are required to use the app. There is no public sign-up, password or guest feed.

CONVERSATIONS WITH CONTEXT
Share a thought, ask a question and keep useful answers together in a thread. Save something worth returning to, and remove it from Saved when finished. Report concerns and manage whose contributions you see.

SHORT PROFILES, SHARED FORMAT
Introduce yourself with up to eight skills, three relevant roles and an optional link to a full CV. Show the essentials without writing another long profile.

OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH PEOPLE
Share a concise role, company, description and direct application link or contact. Ask about a role, share interview experience or report a listing that is no longer available. A member referral keeps the person's name and profile attached. Apply directly with the listed contact; a referral is a connection, not an employment guarantee.

NEWS WITH ITS SOURCE
Read short English news and trending topics, open the original resource and discuss what matters. More entries load as you scroll, without loading the whole collection at once. Community notices keep events and useful updates in Inbox.

A QUIETER EXPERIENCE
A restrained dark interface, focused navigation and no advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. Keep public drafts safely on your phone when offline; the app confirms when the service accepts them. Correct an unpublished draft when its publishing outcome is known.

VERIFIED PRIVATE CONNECTIONS
Compare a safety number with the person you know. Keep both apps open for an encrypted private connection through the service or directly on the same local network. Pending messages stay on your phone until the other device acknowledges them. Direct mode needs recent valid membership and pairing; it is not an anonymous internet mesh.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE
Export server-held account data or delete the account from Data & privacy. To keep your account while removing supported profile or contribution data, use the support request at the same public data-deletion page. Saved items and public reading progress sync privately with your account. Before uninstalling, wait for Saved activity to show synchronized; approved same-account recovery restores the last successful sync. Save an encrypted local-history backup before changing phones and keep its generated recovery key separately. Recovery uses the same approved account; support cannot recreate a missing file or key.

INVITE YOUR PEOPLE
Where permitted, enter someone’s email and share their personal invitation link. Your allowance and history stay private; their phone still needs independent approval. Local unread indicators show new entries and personal messages. Comment badges follow only saved items, your posts and discussions you joined, without extra polling or private read receipts.

PERSONAL ACCESS
Your device is linked to your account. A lost or changed phone uses a manually verified replacement that preserves server-held account data. Unsynced local history needs a recoverable backup; a new invitation alone cannot recreate it.

Invitations help make admission deliberate. They do not automatically verify real-world identity, guarantee every listing, or eliminate abuse. Follow the community rules and never share access codes or credentials.
