About this app

Welcome to the ParentCom App, the app for all parent communication in education developed by Parentcom.

With the ParentCom App, teachers can easily, quickly, and safely share photos, messages, and school updates with parents. The ParentCom App contributes to an active and creative school community and is linked to the school administration system.

- How does the app work for parents?

Download the app and then select your primary school via the search screen or the provided QR code. After following the installation instructions in the app, it will automatically adjust to the look and feel to that of your school. The ParentCom App is free for parents to use.

With the ParentCom App from Parentcom, you can:
- Receive push notifications with important announcements from the class and/or school;
- Read school news;
- Receive personal messages;
- Send 1-on-1 messages with your child's teacher or other school staff;
- Send forms such as privacy preferences, sickness, and/or leave;
- View the annual calendar and link it to your private agenda;
- Sign up as a volunteer parent;
- View photos and videos from the class;
- Pay school invoices in collaboration with WIS collect.

The UI is very unintuitive. Sometimes messages are shown as a pop-up and havebto navigate everywhere to find these. A mailbox-like list could ve nice. Reporting ill is also dumb as you need to fill in every detail from your kids every time.
