XEWM – XHWM is the radio station that gave rise to Grupo Suprema Radio. Almost 50 years ago, on the afternoon of Monday, July 7, 1969 to be precise, the first Hertzian waves emitted by the XEWM at 640 KHz of the Amplitude Modulated band filled the Jovel Valley. At that time, with only 250 watts of power, enough to cover with quality the small and diaphanous valley in which this ancient San Cristóbal de Las Casas sits.
