Aetherglyph is a touch-native wizard duel. You don't press spell buttons — you
draw glyphs. The shape, direction, timing, your resources, and the live
battlefield decide what you cast and how it behaves.
Move on a shallow arc, read your opponent, and trace spells on the glyph pad.
Bend the shared arena to your will: ignite oil, freeze water, ground lightning,
raise stone cover, and chain elemental reactions your rival can exploit too.
Draw to cast. A $1-style recognizer reads your traced glyph against the
full 40-spell roster in Practice and online duels.
40 spells, eight guide shortcuts. Choose any eight dotted guides for quick
reference — or start from a curated theme such as Ember Rush, Tide Control,
Storm Tempo, or Stone Warden. Unselected spells remain fully castable whenever
you meet their Aether, charge, cooldown, and setup requirements.
A distinct look for every spell. Flame Wave rolls in as a wall of fire,
Arcane Missile streaks with arcane rings, Chain Lightning forks between you and
your foe, and each of the 40 spells has its own silhouette and motion — all
drawn in real time with no downloaded art. A reduced-motion setting keeps every
spell readable without flashes or shake.
Built for either orientation. Choose Auto rotate, Portrait, or Landscape in
Settings. Android visitors to the Render web version can install Aetherglyph as
a fullscreen web app directly from Settings when Chrome offers installation.
Duel in a grand arcane academy. An original, moonlit hall of arched stone
arcades, tall windows lit with abstract sigils, hanging banners, floating
lanterns, animated braziers, and distant towers frames every match — with your
robed rival facing you in full: a layered, trimmed robe with a chest crest and
shoulder mantle, articulated arms gripping a crystal-tipped staff, an expressive
bearded face under an asymmetric wizard hat, and a restrained breathing idle —
plus your own gloved hand and wand in first person.
Buffs and debuffs pulse directly on both wizard models in effect-specific
colors, and Blink makes its caster disappear from view for three seconds.
Weather looks like weather: rain falls with splash ripples, fog drifts in a
dense bank, wind sweeps as a curved wall, fire visibly burns, and ice frosts
the ground — tuned to stay smooth and readable on a phone.
Offline tutorial, Practice vs AI & Glyph Laboratory. Learn every gesture in
a checkpointed campaign, then practise a single round against a fair Easy,
Medium, or Hard AI with a post-round coaching report — all with no connection
required. The AI plays by the exact same rules, resources, and drawn glyphs you
do; only its reaction speed, planning, and knowledge change.
Authoritative online duels. Best-of-three matches against another device —
Quick Match (ranked), Create Private Duel, or Join Code. The server owns every
simulation and validates every drawn cast, so results are fair.
Phone-first controls. Portrait and landscape layouts keep Focus, Brace, and
Dodge immediately above the joystick, with readable status indicators and
reconnect after a brief disconnect.
One-time purchase. No ads. No in-app purchases. No pay-to-win. No accounts and
no free-text chat — your identity is a random, device-local id.
An internet connection is required for online duels; the tutorial, Practice vs AI,
and Glyph Laboratory work fully offline.
