For what it is, it's ok. The art is very well done and the enemy design remind me of older JRPG like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. The look and feel of the game is great. The gameplay is a bit lacking. Good ideas, ok execution. The weapon system is fun but extremely abusable. You should go all out on two weapon and upgrade them as much as possible. Stack weapon focused card and victory is guaranteed. Overall, hard to go wrong for the price. I recommend.

Absolutely fantastic game! Has kept me busy for hours coming up with interesting synergies between cards and unlocking new characters and strategies. I would love an option to turn haptics off and to re-read character descriptions after purchasing them as I forgot what they do. These are only minor gripes in what is otherwise a really well designed and addictive game.

This is actually pretty incredible. Obviously, this isn't a game for everyone, but it has such a good style and feel to it, that I think even people who prefer more traditional genres would get a kick out of it. Definitely a game worth putting some time into, and I can see something like this, going further by adding in a way to play this with others. All and all, I'd give it a shot, especially if you enjoy card games and roguelites/roguelikes.
