About this app

Connect Driver is the official delivery driver app for Connect, Kuwait's delivery platform.

The app is invitation-only and used by drivers who have been verified, onboarded and approved by the Connect operations team. There is no public sign-up flow: drivers receive their login credentials directly from a Connect admin after their documents (driving licence, civil ID and vehicle registration) have been reviewed.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Receive real-time order assignments — the dispatch engine picks the nearest available driver and pushes the order straight to your phone.
• Walk through the full delivery flow in one place, accept the order, navigate to the merchant for pickup, mark the package as picked up, drive to the customer, mark delivered.
• See the pickup and drop-off locations on the map with one-tap navigation through Google Maps.
• View your daily, weekly and monthly performance — number of orders completed, hours worked, earnings.
• Stay online or offline with a single switch — when you're offline you don't get new assignments.

LOCATION

Connect Driver uses your device's location while a delivery is in progress to:

• Share your live position with the dispatch operations team and with the merchant who placed the order, so they can give the customer an accurate ETA.
• Verify pickup and drop-off, which prevents disputes about whether a delivery was actually completed.
• Calculate the distance for each order so that your earnings are correct.

Foreground and background location are used only while you are signed in and online. Turning yourself offline pauses location updates immediately.

NOTIFICATIONS

When the dispatcher assigns you a new order, even if the app is in the background or the screen is off, you receive a push notification through Firebase Cloud Messaging so you don't miss the work.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

• All traffic between the app and the Connect backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
• Your phone number and password are only sent to the Connect backend; we never share them with third parties.
• You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [e-mail], see our privacy policy for details.
