Firmcheck’s ID Verification app is a secure companion app that helps users verify the authenticity of their passport using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

How it works
1. Start from your email
You’ll receive a verification link via email from the professional services organisation you're working with. Clicking the link will open this app to begin the process.

2. Use your phone’s NFC to scan your passport
Simply place your passport behind your phone and hold it steady. The app will read the passport’s RFID chip using your phone’s built-in NFC reader to extract encrypted identity data.

3. Submit for verification
Once scanned, your passport data is securely submitted to verify its authenticity — quickly and securely.

Please note: This app only works with a verification link sent to you by a participating professional services organisation. If you haven’t received one, you won’t be able to start the verification process.
