UnitWise: Unit Price Compare

Console Crew

About this app

UnitWise answers one question, fast: which one is actually cheaper per
unit? Enter the price and size of two or more items, and see the winner
instantly — no navigating between "enter" and "see result."

WHY UNITWISE IS DIFFERENT

Every top-ranked "unit price" and "calculator" app today is a general
calculator with this feature buried inside it, or an abandoned utility that
hasn't been updated in years. None of them is a dedicated tool for this one
job — and their reviews show it: full-screen ads, paywalls on a basic
calculator, and permissions a comparison tool has no reason to ask for.

• ONE JOB, DONE WELL — compare price-per-unit for 2 or more items on one
screen. That's the whole app.
• NO FORCED ADS ON THE COMPARISON — a single small banner, never inside
the input fields or the result itself. No full-screen interstitials.
• NO ACCOUNT, NO LOGIN — open it and use it.
• NO UNNECESSARY PERMISSIONS — no contacts, no storage-wide access, no
location. It's a calculator.
• WORKS FULLY OFFLINE — it's arithmetic. There's no reason it should need
a network connection to compare two prices.
• AUTOMATIC UNIT CONVERSION — mixed units within the same category convert
automatically (liters ↔ milliliters ↔ gallons, or kilograms ↔ grams ↔
pounds), so you can compare a 2L bottle against a 64 fl oz jug directly.
• HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CAN'T KNOW — UnitWise never silently compares a
volume-labeled item against a weight-labeled one (a real shelf problem —
edible oil is a classic example). Converting between the two needs the
product's density, which no app can know just from the label. UnitWise
tells you that plainly instead of guessing at a number you can't trust.

COMPARISON HISTORY
Your recent comparisons are saved on your device, so re-checking a common
purchase — "is the 2L or 4L bottle the better deal at my usual store" — is
instant the next time.

BUILT FROM REAL COMPLAINTS
UnitWise was designed after reading thousands of reviews of the apps
currently ranked for "unit price calculator." The dominant complaint,
by a wide margin, was ads overwhelming a simple tool. UnitWise is built
specifically not to repeat that.

PERFECT FOR
Grocery shopping • Bulk-buy decisions • Comparing store brands vs. name
brands • Anyone who's ever stood in an aisle doing this math in their head
