About this app
ConsoScan helps you learn more about the food products you buy by scanning or searching for them.
HOW IT WORKS
With ConsoScan, you scan or search.
Scan the oval health seal (FR XX.XXX.XXX CE) or the barcode (EAN) on the packaging. ConsoScan identifies the producing establishment and gives you access to clear and verified information.
You can also use ConsoScan to search for a company or producer (excluding wine producers) in a region of France, for a PDO, PGI, Organic, or Label Rouge designation: ConsoScan provides you with a list of companies already identified.
WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER
- The producing establishment: company name, address, company profile
- Labels and quality marks: PDO, PGI, Label Rouge, Organic
- Current product recalls (source: RappelConso)
- Nearby producers, sorted by distance
- Products already identified for these producers
WHY CONSOSCAN? Because knowing who makes your products and where means consuming with confidence. ConsoScan makes public information, often difficult to find, accessible and gathers it all in a simple and fast application.
RESPECTFUL OF YOUR PRIVACY
ConsoScan requires no registration. No personal data is collected or transmitted: your location is used only to calculate distances directly on your phone, and your scan history remains on your device.
More food transparency, at your fingertips with ConsoScan
