About this app

ContextCall is a real-time video call translator. Each person speaks their own language; the other hears the translation spoken aloud and reads bilingual subtitles on screen.
Start a call, share the short invite code, and the other person joins from their own phone. No account needed.
Chinese, Thai and English, plus Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Vietnamese.

WHO IT'S FOR
• Couples and families across languages — talk with a partner, in-laws or grandparents without someone in the middle interpreting.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose "You speak" and "They speak", tap "Start the call" and get a short invite code.
2. Send the code. The other person taps "Have an invite code?" in the app and enters it.
3. Talk. Bilingual subtitles appear live and the translation plays as you speak.

LANGUAGES
Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), English, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil) and Vietnamese — 11 languages in total.

MINUTES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
• Translated calls are measured in minutes, counted only while both people are connected and translation is running.
• The person who starts the call (creates and shares the invite code) uses their own minutes; joining someone else's call uses none.
• 60-minute pack: can be bought again anytime; does not auto-renew.
• Monthly subscriptions: 600, 1,200 or 1,800 minutes a month, renewing automatically each month; subscription minutes reset monthly.
• Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play › Payments and subscriptions.

PRIVACY
• Before your first translated call, the app explains how call data is handled and asks for your consent. You can review or withdraw it anytime under "Call data and AI" in Settings.
• To translate, what you say is processed by third-party speech recognition, translation and speech synthesis services. We do not record calls or store your call audio, transcripts or translations.
• Camera video goes only to the other participant during the call and is not sent to AI services.
• Encrypted in transit. Our servers are in Singapore.

GOOD TO KNOW
Translation quality depends on background noise, accents and network. A stable connection helps. ContextCall is not a medical, legal, financial or emergency service.
